As the previous mod that did this has been removed, I set out to recreate it(as the sound is just so horribly, horribly annoying and distracting once you notice it..), and so here it is.
Installation: Place the thudremovermod folder into [kingdom come base folder]\Mods\
Compatibility: Sadly because of the way audio is handled in the game, I couldn't find the sound-file itself and just remove the sound out of it, and so it's not a very compatible-friendly mod, any mod that edits GameAudio\npc.xml is inherently not compatible without manually merging the changes(or rather, ensure entries from all the mods have been removed, as only time you'll see this file edited is if you're removing some sounds).
The new XML system, just doesn't work with editing these entries sadly, or I'd have used that system :(.
Disclaimer: No this is not an reupload of his mod, I have gone through the painstakingly trial and error to figure out exactly what xml file contains the annoying bump sound entry, and remove it.
