While anticipating the groundbreaking 1.4.5 update for Terraria, the developers presented players with an intriguing gift on Steam. It is... update 1.1, which was released shortly after the game's premiere in 2011.

In this way, Re-Logic studio celebrates the 13th anniversary of the release of their sandbox game, which attracted many and sold millions of copies. The mentioned update has returned as a playable beta version and brought several attractions into the game, enabling fans to embark on a nostalgic journey into the past.

  1. 36 previously unseen monsters have appeared in the game.
  2. Wall of Flesh is the new ruler of the Underworld. If we manage to defeat him, we will unlock new challenges.
  3. Three more challenging versions of the older bosses have been added.
  4. Three friendly NPCs have been added, which can be saved if specific conditions are met.

The developers also noted in the "fine print" that the updated version allows players to strike the purple, spiky object that Terraria fans will definitely recognize.

To activate the gift from Re-Logic, you must, of course, own the game. If we have it in our collection, we should go to properties, then to the "beta" tab and select the "v1.1.2 - First Final Update" option. The second method is to enter the server via the game's forum.

Let's remember that we will have to wait longer for the aforementioned patch 1.4.5 than previous speculations suggested. The developers themselves have confirmed this.

Apart from PC, Terraria is also available for purchase, among others: in PS Store and Microsoft Store. It can also be played as part of PC/Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus subscriptions.
