The beauty of our game industry is that sometimes inconspicuous titles achieve incredible success. One of them is Terraria, a sandbox platform game referred to as a two-dimensional version of Minecraft. The game of the Re-Logic studio was released on the market over 13 years ago and since then it has won the hearts of millions of players.

The incredible popularity of Terraria is primarily due to the almost unlimited possibilities offered by this title and the constant support of the devs. The numerous updates have caused this game to outgrow its original form a long time ago. One of them - and probably the most anticipated of all - is the 1.4.5 update.

It has been known for a long time that the mentioned patch will bring many new features. In addition to new ways of harvesting wood and collecting resources, Skyblock mode, and dinosaurs mowing the grass, another change will also hitTerraria. Players will have the option to transform their character into a rat, as well as into a wolf or a bat.

According to information provided by Re-Logic studio, this transformation will make it easier to climb walls and penetrate tight, hard-to-reach spaces.

The developers had more than just new content to announce. Two new team members from the community have joined the devs. One of them - Kazzymodus - will serve as a tester for the content being developed for the game. Jopojelly, on the other hand, will be responsible for collaborating with mod creators using the tModLoader tool.

We still don't know the approximate release date of the 1.4.5 update. The update won't be released this spring, despite fans' speculation, as announced by the devs some time ago.
