Internationalization (Publishing): When you work on a project intended for an international audience, the base work needs to be culturally neutral, and then each edition modified slightly to be culturally on-target. Translations should always use native speakers of the intended target (country-language), making use of a variety of tools to validate the quality of messaging. Also important is to understand that there are different typographic standards by country-language. There is more than translation -- there is teamwork, and there is imagineering.
