Soulmask is a new open world survival game. The title features an interesting mechanic, which allows you to take control of the bodies of other characters. Thanks to the mysterious and powerful masks, you can even embody ancient heroes with unique powers. Soulmask was released in Early Access on Steam. Many players would like to see it on other platforms though. Is it possible? Let’s find out.

Soulmask - Console (Xbox, PS4, PS5) Release Explained

As it was said earlier, people on Steam can enjoy Soulmask in Early Access, what about other platforms? Developers have answered this question in their FAQ, which can be read on Steam. We can learn from it that:

Is there a console version of Soulmask? Or it's only available in Steam.

We will only launch it on Steam, but we are also preparing to launch it on other platforms. To learn more about our further plans, please check our posts in the community.

As you can see, there are plans to port the game. As of now, we do not know yet to which platforms exactly, but we may assume that the most popular consoles such as PlayStation and Xbox, or at least one of them, are likely. It is also unknows whether the game will be available on the previous generation.

It is probable that the ports will arrive at the end of Early Access, as it is rare to release EA games on consoles. On Steam we can find information that EA will last at least one year. So, console players should be patient. Of course, there is always a chance that developers will surprise us.
