Developers from HoYoverse, creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, are known for their attention to character design. It is also true in the case of Zenless Zone Zero, their newest game. No wonder, as drawing new heroes and heroines in Signal Search is very important part of monetization of this free to play title. For some people, getting as many unique teammates as possible is enough, while others take this to another level. Acquiring double characters unlocks their passive powers and arts. The latter ones in their C6 version can be quite brave.

Doubles in ZZZ (Zenless Zone Zero)

While drawing, we all hope for the S character, ideally the one we want the most. However, the luck does not work that way, and often players get not the teammate they want to. In even worse scenario, you can get a double. However, it may not be the end of the world.

Getting a double in Zenless Zone Zero may be quite beneficial, as they unlock new powers. Each character has 6 bonuses, which can be quite useful. It is not the end though, as they also reveal special background arts.

Those arts have levels called C, each additional copy of the character unlocks a new tier of the picture, which makes it more colorful, starting from a grayed out C0 and ending at C6. At the C3 level the picture is fully colored… so, what about C4-C6? Here things start to become spicy, as next levels reveal the art on which a character has less clothes.

Before you think something naughty, those pictures do not reveal any NSFW fragments. However, coworkers might definitely look at you suspiciously, if they see you looking at some of them. While it is not 18+ art, some players still were surprised by this artistic decision.

Saying that, right now there are 16 playable characters. In total, you have to draw each of them 7 times to see the fully upgraded art. It really is impressive that some players have already unlocked all of them. For example, a youtuber Everything will be fine who shared all arts on their channel.
