Today Rockstar Games shared a rather interesting information - the first part of Red Dead Redemption is heading to new platforms. The iconic game will arrive on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on August 17, which is next week. According to information provided by Gematsu, the game will be localized (the original on PS3 and X360 was in English).

While the information about the new release may excite, the trailer, however, suggests that we are only dealing with a port of the original game, rather than a full remaster or remake.

The new edition of the game will be sold as a bundle with the Undead Nightmare expansion.
