Gathering materials in survival games, especially the basic ones, can get tedious over time. Sure, punching trees can be fun at first, but if you have to do it over and over again, it will eventually become mundane. Fortunately, a lot of titles battle that issue by allowing you for some kind of automation later on to alleviate those tasks. Once Human offers some helpers that can work for you, while you are out exploring the world. One of them, Digby Boy, can be used to mine ore. Getting the machine itself won’t do, as it requires more step to be put to use. Here you will learn what you need to do in order to power it up.

Using Digby Boy in Once Human

Who wouldn’t want a helper to do boring stuff for us? Once Human offers such possibility in the form of Digby Boy. This little robot-like creature helps out with gathering ore or working at the Mining Operation Platform. Quite useful little fella, isn’t it? However, to get it working, one crucial element is required – Isolated Securement Unit.

To put together this overgrown fishtank, you will require some Metal Scraps, Copper Ingots, and Glass. You can find this machine in Facilities menu in Function Facility tab. Now, with this containment obtained and placed, put the Digby Boy inside. It won’t get to digging right away. You will have to wait till its Deviant Power reaches at least 30 before it can venture out for ore.

That should be about it. Now you can enjoy your adventures, knowing that once you return to your base, you will have a lot of materials waiting for you thanks to your little helpers’ hard work. Have fun!
