Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream

Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream is a Japanese action RPG developed by Dimps Corporation studio (known for such projects as Dragon Ball: Xenoverse and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet) and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The production is based on the license of a very popular (especially in Japan) brand covering both video games and anime, manga and novels for young people.

Story

Like other productions under this banner, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream takes us to a sci-fi universe, in which various MMO games triumph. One of them is ALfheim Online, which implements a special Galaxia system, allowing players to relive events from the past.

However, things didn't go the way its creators wanted, and the virtual space-time continuum went down in ruins, mixing characters from different eras and plots. All is not lost, however, as more than 20 heroes and heroines have sprung into action to restore balance to the world of ALfheim Online. For many of them, accomplishing this mission involves burying the hatchets of war and teaming up with old enemies....

Gameplay

The gameplay in Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream does not differ too much from what we are accustomed to in previous positions under this banner. The production allows us to choose one of the characters, which are differentiated in terms of specialties, skills and preferred weapons.

In addition to Kirito, who is a swordsman and in a way the main protagonist, we have at our disposal, among others, his cousin Leafa, sniper Sinon, the silent Argo or Agil, who wields a large top?r.

As a hero or heroine we embark on a dangerous journey through various locations, complete tasks and engage in dynamic battles with enemies. Among the latter the most prominent are powerful bosses, which we eliminate by taking part in special raids.

Game modes

Admittedly, in Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream can be played solo, but the title spreads its wings in a cooperative mode for 20 players. Participants of the game act in teams of four and work together to restore balance in the virtual world of ALfheim Online.
