Legacy Quest, released on AND an iOS, is an action RPG available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions. The game was produced by Socialspiel and released by Nexon.

Mechanics

Legacy Quest doesn't offer an extensive plot. We simply play as warriors exploring a typical fantasy land filled to the brim with monsters and dungeons waiting to be explored. The gameplay resembles a typical action RPG. The events are observed from a camera placed high above the heads of the heroes, and the fun consists mainly of murdering opponents with the help of arcade combat system. By winning battles, we gain experience points and develop character skills.

At the same time, Legacy Quest offers several interesting solutions, rarely seen in mobile action RPGs. First of all, the player commands the whole team of heroes and has to generate each of its members personally. There is also nothing in the game that would allow the fallen characters to be resurrected, and every death is permanent. In addition, the authors have developed an extensive crafting system, offering full freedom in the construction of new objects. However, when a hero dies, all their equipment is thrown into the virtual world and from that moment on has a chance to appear on other players' devices. This solution provides users with a constant choice of unique weapons, armor and other equipment elements.

Technical aspects

The graphics in Legacy Quest are interesting. The authors were inspired by 8-bit RPGs, but at the same time offering a full 3D world with numerous modern visual effects.
