The sixth game from the Commander Keen series, which was originally intended to be one of the episodes of the Goodbye Galaxy trilogy! The idea was finally abandoned and people from id Software agreed with FormGen to release this production in a box. All previous versions of this cycle were distributed in the shareware system - Aliens Ate My Babysitters! became the first and at the same time the last episode of Commander Keen's adventures that broke this rule.

The plot of the game revolves around Molly, a nanny of eight-year-old Billy Blaze. One day the woman was kidnapped by aliens of the Bloogs race and imprisoned on the planet Fribbulus Max. Known for his heroic feats, the boy, who had already saved the galaxy from oppression, decides, of course, to release his nanny. Keen has to be in a hurry, because Molly is supposed to be the main course on foreign lunch.

The product was developed between the fourth and fifth installments of the cycle and therefore benefits from all the advantages that were introduced into the series at that time: the ability to enter buildings, look up or down with the appropriate key pressed, shoot in four different directions, as well as a Ponga mini-game similar firing, available from the main menu. Although the "six" is a completely separate adventure, in terms of construction it is practically no different from its predecessors. Thus, the selection of the stage is made on an extensive map of the planet, viewed from the bird's eye view. The actual gameplay, on the other hand, takes place on two-dimensional levels, which Commander Keen travels in a classic style for platformers. There are several types of weapons at the player's disposal, including the well-known pistol, with which the boy was able to incapacitate his opponents.
